Manchester United’s new kit ‘leaked’ ahead of Premier League season… and fans are not impressed

LEAKED images of Manchester United’s new home kit has sent fans into frenzy.

Jose Mourinho’s side are expected to wear a striped jersey and black shorts in the Premier League next season.

FootyHeadlines, who specialise in the release of football gear, revealed several images of the apparent new strip.

The images show that the top and socks will both have black stripes around them.

And the reds are ditching their traditional white shorts in favour of a black pair.

United have kept their kits basic in previous seasons, but this time they’ve gone with a V-shaped collar.

Fans claimed that the kit resembles a red zebraFootyheadlines

The new strip has been badly received by the majority of United fans, who decided to share their opinions on Twitter.

One said: “The new Man United kit looks horrendous.”

While another added: “Man United kit must be PLAIN RED those black stripes make me sick.”

It was likened to a red zebra and one fan claimed that it would be more suitable for the training ground.

United will pair the short with black shorts and black and red socksFootyheadlines

A number of kits have already been leaked ahead of the upcoming Premier League season.

Chelsea will be reverting back to a yellow away kit as opposed to their usual choice of white or black.

And Tottenham will be sticking with a predominately navy blue strip when they are on the road.
