West Ham ‘close to completing £33.4m deal’ to sign Brazilian star Felipe Anderson from Lazio

WEST HAM are close to completing a £33.4million deal to sign Felipe Anderson from Lazio, according to reports in Italy.

Talks between the two parties had be ongoing for a while, with the Bianconelesti understood to be asking for a £44m.

But Gazzetta dello Sport have today claimed they have reached an agreement for an initial fee of £26.4m, with a further £7m in bonuses.

Leicester and Southampton had been interested in Anderson, 25, but it appears the Hammers have won the race.

Lazio are already Rubin Kazan’s Sardar Azmoun and Wesley from Club Brugge on their radar.

Anderson’s stock has dropped in recent years, having been close to a move to Manchester United in 2016.
